Ricky Smith is the Vice President and Maintenance and Reliability Advisor at World Class Maintenance. He has over 30 years of experience in the maintenance and reliability field.
Ricky began his career in the U.S. Army as a heavy equipment mechanic and later served as a Maintenance Company Commander in Iraq, where he introduced structured maintenance processes.
In the private sector, Ricky applies military discipline to maintenance strategies for industries like food and beverage and oil and gas, focusing on reducing costs and minimizing equipment failures.
Certified as a CMRP, CRL, and CMRT, he has trained thousands of professionals around the world.
